Stand by your Saints is the official supporters’ club of St Albans City FC. The supporters’ club is democratically run by the club’s supporters and is open to all people from different backgrounds in the local community.
Stand by your Saints was originally founded in March 2015 as a response to the ‘Save the Saints’ campaign set up by current owners Lawrence Levy and John McGowan. The main aims of Stand By Your Saints is to support the club in its quest to become a self-sustainable football club.
Secondly, bring back a real community spirit by improving the fan experience, which is more conducive to our diverse community, and make St Albans City a football club that the people of the St Albans community can be proud of.
Finally, to build on the support we already have in the local community and raise awareness of the role the club plays in supporting local community initiatives such as youth football, disability sports, women’s football and much more.
